SNAP (spay, neuter assistance program)

This program is designed to help with the costs of spaying or neutering your cat. We are opting not to bring a low cost spay/neuter clinic here. Instead, our SNAP voucher mimics it and helps emphasize pet owner responsibility and helps cultivate a relationship with the pet owner and a veterinarian to ensure the pet's health for their lifetime.

The voucher will let you pay $50 for a female spay or $35 for a male neuter. If your cats are not UTD on the rabies shot, the owner is responsible for that costs on top of the $50 0r $35. You can go to the Wibaux County Vet or Dawson County Vet. The voucher does have an expiration date of three months after being issued. The voucher is mailed to your address, and the process could take up to a week. Please plan ahead.
