SNAP (spay, neuter assistance program)

This program is designed to help with the costs of spaying or neutering your cat. We are not at the point yet to be able to bring a low cost spay/neuter clinic here but, our SNAP voucher mimics it. 

If you are a resident of Dawson County you can apply for an assistance voucher here, it is one voucher per applicant per household at this time. We have limited funds.

The voucher will let you pay $50 for a female spay or $35 for a male neuter. If your cats are not UTD on the rabies shot, the owner is responsible for that costs on top of the $50 0r $35. You can go to the Wibaux County Vet or Dawson County Vet. The voucher does have an expiration date of three months after being issued. We will mail the voucher to you.
