Available cats/kittens are listed below.

You must be 18 or older to adopt. We do verify your housing and veterinary reference. All current pets must be fixed and UTD on vaccinations (unless your vet gives a medical reason). If you do not have pets for a vet reference, we call the personal reference you listed on the application. Once we verify the application, we will either call or email if we have questions and to let you know if you are approved. Please understand that we are all volunteers, and it could take up to a week to process.

Anastasia

Born 09/01/2024 (estimated) Adoption Fee: $75
Anastasia came in during TNR season. She was trapped behind the rescue and Del Mesa. We were told of someone being evicted from there who abandoned cats. We believe Anastasia was one of them.
Anastasia loves to play and loves attention. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped.

Apricot

Born 09/01/2024 (estimated) Adoption Fee: $75
Apricot came in during TNR season. She was trapped behind the rescue and Del Mesa. We were told of someone being evicted from there who abandoned cats. We believe Apricot was one of them.
Apricot is a sweet little purr machine that loves to play. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped.

Boreas

Born 02/10/2022 (estimated) Adoption Fee: $75
Boreas means the God of winter, ice, and North wind. He came in during one of the coldest days in February.
He was rescued from the I-94 trailer court. He was in a vent under he a trailer house and came up through the vent in the living room. He was malnourished, he had a wound on his front leg, and his eyes were goopy. He was diagnosed with Entropion and eye condition. He had surgery to fix his eyes and now he is good.
He is the sweetest lover boy that headbutts and climbs right into your lap. He gives little love bites. He gets along well with other cat and dogs. He does tend to be a more dominant cat.
He is neutered. He is microchipped, dewormed, treated for ear mites, and UTD on vaccinations.

Christian

Christian came in during TNR season. He was trapped behind the rescue and Del Mesa. We were told of someone being evicted from there who abandoned cats. We believe Christian was one of them.
Christian loves to play and loves attention. He is described by one of our volunteers as the epitome of a laid-back surfer dude. He says, Hey Man, what's up?
He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped.

Frito

Born 04/01/2024 (estimated) Adoption fee: $75
Frito came in as a stray someone was feeding since summer. He is a sweet boy that loves attention. Likes to be more of a dominant cat. Very vocal and food driven. He prefers to come to people on his own terms, not held.
Frito is UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and neutered.

Grimm

Born 07/02/2024 (estimated) Adoption fee: $75
Grimm was found behind the Moose/Crazy Woman Expresso. He was in very rough shape when we got him in. He was skeletal, hyperthermic, dehydrated, and near death. Hence the name Grimm, Grim Reaper. After a few days being hospitalized and 3 weeks of love and care, Grimm is like a whole new cat.
Grimm is the most grateful cat. He loves attention and purrs and purrs. He does great with other cats and is so laid back, we believe he would do great with dogs.
He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested negative, dewormed, and microchipped.

Jimmy Stewart

Jimmy Stewart came in during TNR season. He was trapped behind the rescue and Del Mesa. We were told of someone being evicted from there who abandoned cats. We believe Jimmy Stewart was one of them.
Jimmy is a shy cat that needs time to warm up to his surroundings. Once he adapts, he loves to be adored. He doesn't love to be held. He prefers to come to you for loves. He loves other cats.
He is neutered UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped.

Knuckles

Born 03/01/2023 (estimated) Adoption fee: $75
Knuckles came to us as an owner surrender. He is a sweet boy. He is shy at first but warms up quickly. He loves attention, playing with the wand, and delectable treats.
He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV tested negative.

Marlon

Born 02/20/2025 Adoption Fee: $75 (Will be ready to leave June 20th) (PENDING ADOPTION)
Marlon was born at the rescue to Stella. He loves to play, especially with the wand. He is also snuggly and climbs into your lap.
He is UTD on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested negative, dewormed, microchipped, and will be neutered June 12.

Moon

Born 11/1/2023 (estimated) Adoption Fee: $75
Moon came in as a stray found 10 miles outside of town.
She had an ear tip already. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV tested negative.
Moon is a sweetheart that loves cuddles after she gets used to you. She is playful and sometimes vocal. She does not like to be held. She prefers you to be sitting and she will come to you.

Oreo

Born 07/01/2024 (estimated) Adoption Fee: $75
Oreo came to us from someone who rescued him during the brutal negative weather we had. He was a stray from the trailer court Del Mesa. They brought him in and took care of him until we could take him in.
He is a sweetheart that loves to play. He loves attention but is ore reserved at first. He is now neutered, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV tested negative.

Patches

Born 01/03/2023 (estimated) Adoption Fee: $75
Patches came as a stray in the I-94 trailer court. He is a shy kitty. He does not like to be held. He loves to play, and he would do best with no small children.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV tested.

Raven

Born 01/01/2024 (estimated) Adoption Fee: $75
Raven came to us from the I-94 trailer court. Someone rescued him when it was bitter cold. They took him to the vet for initial care and held onto him until we could take him in.
Raven is now neutered, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV tested negative.
He has a small little raspy meow and is super sweet. Loves to play and arches and rubs up against your feet. He is an attention seeker for sure.

Simone

Born 12/01/2023(estimated) Adoption fee: $75
Simone was brought in after someone alerted us to her and her 3 babies. She was a young mother and unfortunately, 2 of her babies died. The last baby she didn't want to take care of, so was bottle fed by a volunteer. Simone is so sweet and loveable. She is a calm cat that just loves to relax.
Simone is now spayed, microchipped, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and UTD on vaccinations.

Shadow

Born 07/05/2024 (estimated) Adoption Fee: $75
Shadow came in as a stray at someone's house. He was semi-feral when they started to tame him. He is now a loving, playful kitty that loves ear and chin scratches and loves to lay in your lap. He is one of the first ones to jump up on your lap for lap snuggles and pets.
He is UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped, neutered and FIV/FeLV negative.

Smokey

Born - 06/02/2019 (estimated) Adoption Fee: $75
Smokey was originally in the rescue back in early 2021. He was Mr. Buford then. He was adopted out for 2.5 years and came back because of stress in the home. He has adjusted to rescue life again. He prefers to be in a quiet home as an only pet or maybe one other. He loves to be on your lap but not petted that much. He does not like to be picked up. He would do best with no small children. He is a quiet boy that loves the laser and just relaxing.
He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested negative, dewormed, and microchipped.

Stella

Born 01/12/204 (estimated) Adoption fee: $75 (PENDING ADOPTION)
Stella was found outside of Greg's Silver Dollar. No one claimed her and she became a rescue cat. She is such a sweetheart. She is a talker. Stella was found to be pregnant and had her kittens at the rescue.
She has some kitten still in her. She loves to play, especially with her kittens. She likes to rub up against you and jump in your lap.
She is dewormed, and microchipped. She will be UTD on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, and spayed after kittens are weaned.

Tempest

Tempest came in during TNR season. She was trapped behind the rescue and Del Mesa. We were told of someone being evicted from there who abandoned cats. We believe Tempest was one of them.
Tempest is a shy kitty that takes a moment to warm up to you. She loves her chin and cheeks scratched and turns into putty in your arms. She is a quiet watcher. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped.

Trinity

Trinity is more reserved in the beginning. She loves to be petted and adored. She loves to play. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped.

Vivien
